SELF camps first began in 2014 as a way of increasing the effectiveness of our work with young people by harnessing the power of nature and the growth opportunities of residential experiences
Are you the parent/carer of a teenage girl and boys?
Do you want to give them an opportunity to develop their own sense of SELF which will give them the resilience and courage to step into their POTENTIAL in their teenage years?
... Then you will want to give them a place on the SELF Camp.
Our Mission
Our mission is to contribute positively to the lives of teenagers, giving them a greater sense of SELF and within that a sense of purpose and choice to lead fulfilling lives.
The aim is to provide girls and boys with the tools and skills to enable them to navigate the challenges through the teenage years; bullying, body image issues, self-harming, anxiety, learning and attainment difficulties, family issues, healthy relationships, using tried and tested models and practical methods.
In particular, we address attitudes, beliefs and behaviours that are barriers to learning and ways to support them through the transition from child to adult.
We run separate camps for both young women and young men.
